Is there a trade to make?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is there a trade to make?

Postby Rams Fan » Fri Jan 05, 2018 1:19 pm

For Team 1:

Guy is looking to upgrade his TE position and has inquired about Gronk. My teams biggest weakness is RB.
His RB's are: Kamara, Hyde, Miller, K Drake, Foreman.
His WR's: Landry, D Thomas, J Gordon
His QB's: Stafford, Luck, Wentz

Anyone see something I could propose between my roster and his?

Thanks all
Team 1:
12 Team, Superflex, 0.5ppr
1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 2FLEX, 1OP, 1TE, 1Def
QB: Matt Ryan, Andy Dalton, Sam Darnold

WR: OBJ, AJ Green, Tyreek Hill, Larry Fitzgerald, Jamison Crowder, Taywan Taylor
TE: Gronk
D: Chicago

Team 2:
10 Team, Superflex, 0.5 PPR
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLX, 1 OP

I would not sell Gronk unless the deal involves getting back one of Stafford, Luck, Wentz, or Kamara. You don't need any of his WRs given your depth at the position.

Though I'm not a Foreman fan, I'd move Gronk for Miller/Foreman. Miller should be the starter but Foreman gives you insurance in case the Texans make a change.

When I saw Foreman on his roster, I was thinking you should try to acquire him. I would try Rudolph for Foreman. I like Foreman and I think you can acquire him on the cheap right now.

Agree with Skip. Also I think you could get a 2nd. Thinking from his view.. getting his top TE and giving up an Miller and foreman is pretty good..so add a 2nd to even it out would not be out of the question.

What?? I wouldn't sell Gronk for Miller/Foreman unless I'm getting back at least a 1st on top.

You're not going to get Kamara for Gronk, so maybe try for Hyde and Luck/Wentz.

this. I'd have to have Kamara to move Gronk out of the players you listed. I'd pass on any other offer.

So with some back and forth maybe the only chance of a deal looks like: Gronk/Dalton for Hyde/Luck.

Worth pursuing or keep Gronk at this point?

I like it, especially since it's similar to what I suggested lol. In a SF, Luck is easily the best piece in this deal.

I would trade gronk/Dalton for Luck/Hyde in a superflex without much thought.

I definitely would NOT trade gronk for foreman/Lamar...that's a complete undersell and I would much rather have gronk than that.
