To be clear, bringing up the Chiefs game was purely done to set up a joke about Cooper. Anderson has had a good year.Nanananananana wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2017 4:15 pmFirst off the performance against Kansas City was right in line with what he's been scoring it wasn't an outlier. This started at the end of last season he was putting up some good numbers and he's just progressively getting better.Phaded wrote: ↑Wed Dec 06, 2017 3:55 pmHey hey - Coop is a top 5 dynasty asset.. the problem is everything but Coop.
In all seriousness, as mentioned it has been talked about pretty extensively already; you just have to find where it was.
Every year there are those WRs that grossly over-perform and kind of raise eyebrows. I feel like people are starting to gradually catch on to this, albeit it at a surprisingly slow rate.
Last year, it was Terrelle Pryor, Tyrell Williams & Kenny Britt. They all had 1000+ yards just as an example.
Sometimes - players just produce numbers because there is no one else there and "someone has to".
I'd say the best comparison would be Tyreek Hill from last year most people thought he couldn't duplicate it but he was so consistent that I personally thought he would and I'm happy I bought him. Robbie doesn't fit the mold of the receiver you'd be expecting to be putting up these numbers but he is.
But as Phaded noted, being the only receiving option on a talent deprived team doesn't necessitate sustained success. Jeremy Kerley was valuable for SF last year. Allen Hurns had a blow up year then disappeared. Anderson could buck the trend; he does have great speed. I just wouldn't be surprised if he fades into irrelevance.
