Postby bossman » Sat Dec 30, 2017 11:54 am

Young RBs are such a crapshoot, please rank these guys in terms of their ability to win a RB1 job + production for next couple of years.

Samaje Perine
Marlon Mack
Duke Johnson
Austin Ekeler
Aaron Jones
James Conner
D'Onta Foreman
Tion Green
De'Angelo Henderson
Joe Williams
Elijah McGuire
Chris Carson

Thank you!

Everyone else are committee type backs. But each player I listed have various hurdles to clear.

Foreman- big injury, lost development time.
Jones - pass protection, possible off the field concern.
Perine - fumbling and pass catching.

Jones got busted for possession of pot this season, correct? That's 2 games next year, for first time offense I believe?

What bout Carson? he should be healthy next year and would likely be the lead dog going into TC unless Pete makes a big RB splash.

Could be, but either way O-line will be fixed, then Defense falls apart (salary cap) or defense stars coming back another year and o-line stays trash...

I think there is probably no running game - similar to this year
