Ha, it's hard to expect much against the Pats when we trot Osweiler out there, but you're right I went to bed early that night.

You guys have no idea what you are talking about. Sorry to troll down to some of your level, but some of you guys are a detriment to mankind in general...

Re: This just happened....bad trade...
Matthew Berry and the fantasy football expert community in general (based on what I hear on Sirius XM) feel as follows:
"OK, not a word that comes up in negotiation, but the word you cannot say in any trade is "veto." I may sound like a broken record, but until it no longer happens, I can't say it enough. Unless you can prove actual collusion, no trade should ever be vetoed. It is not your job to manage someone's team for them. Everyone should be allowed to manage their own way, even if you don't agree with it. Even if it's badly. You don't think he got nearly enough for his star tight end? So what? Not your team, not your tight end. The person dealing him thought he got a good deal, that's all that matters. There's a special level of hell reserved for the people who veto just because it's a deal that didn't involve them or because "it's part of their strategy." That's not strategy -- it's being a jerk. Win on the virtual field, not in some technocratic loophole. The art of negotiation is a skill in fantasy and is part of the game. A big part."

My issue is that none of you were there, nor do you have all the facts, but you are quick - like a pack of hyenas - to pile on and trash someone you don't even know...based solely on the word of someone else you don't know. This post was started about a trade, now how the league is run, and it only went that direction once the original poster realized that general sentiment was going against him. So, you tell me, how much credibility would you place on that?

Well I read the post where you were talking about you made changes because it is your league and you wanted these changes. You also stated the other owners would just do what suits them so that is why you didn’t get their input. I think this is way out of line as a commish. I think the trade is horrible, but I don’t see that as a reflection of how you commish if you truly don’t believe in vetoes. My issue is the way you admitted you run the league.

Just give up, you're only digging your hole deeper.
This summer when you have a bunch of openings in your league again you might want to create a new forum account that way the people looking to join your league won't be able to go back and find this thread and see what an ***iot commish you are.
Best wishes

Wait, 11/14 owners are playing for free this year and have a crack at a $500+ pot? Everything else aside, this was a recipe for disaster from jump street.
