Trade my early 1st?

Postby spoony » Wed Sep 20, 2017 9:26 am

This is for the team in blue in my sig, I've got a 1st from one of the worst teams in the league, he'll probably end up last if not 2nd or 3rd. I lost ARob to injury so I feel like I'm lacking depth a little. I was wondering there's anyone on the team below you would trade the first for? I was thinking about offering it for Keenan and Carson, which I think he'd do, would you do that? or maybe Keenan and Kamara? Also thought about buying low on Davis as well.

QB: Stafford, Kizer, Mahomes
RB: DJ (IR), CJA, Carson, Forte, Kamara, White, Charles, Tolbert, McNichols
WR: Keenan, Davis, T.Y., Pryor, Shepard, Samuel
TE: Hooper, Cook, Shaheen, Jonnu

A first for Keenan is a good deal. Getting Kamara on top would be a steal.

Exactly. Keenan alone is worth a 1st and I'd take Kamara, or even Carson on top if that was an option.

a 1.01 could be a top 5 / top 10 RB... thats exactly what your team needs going into next year IMO. I think you should hold on for now because your TE/QBs only get stronger - and picks tend to get more valuable later in the season, so you could trade them anyways for good value

Not sure if everyone realizes that you’ve stated this could be a top 3 1st round pick.

I think Keenan is around the 1.6 mark. So, you should definitely get one of those rookie RBs thrown in, I’d want Kamara over Carson.

However, with your team I think I’d ride this year out and keep the pick. You potentially could have 3 starting RBs in your weekly lineup next year with that pick.

I think Keenan + Carson is fair if you think they can make you a serious contender.

I don't think that by adding Allen your teams in contention, I'd rather hold the pick as of now. I would look to complete a "mini" rebuild. I think if Buck continues to be the rb1 in Balt I'd look to move him for a pick. Also I'd be open to moving some wr depth, Kelvin or Diggs for a pick also. With the potential of several top qbs coming out you could add one of them, possibly another rb, healthy wr's and your team is looking to compete next season.

Yeah this is the way I think I'm leaning unless an unreal offer comes through after all the advice and thinking about it.
