Cooper 1.03 for Evans 1.07

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Cooper 1.03 for Evans 1.07

Postby balaberda » Thu Aug 31, 2017 10:19 am

I have 6 and 7 and I would plan on taking Mixon at 1.03.

Non Ppr league.

Which side do you like better?

So the question is

AMARI COOPER AND MIXON OR EVANS and say someone from the 2nd tier of rookie rbs.

Id take Amari Cooper and Mixon. Amari Cooper in his third year this year, he is going to be a problem in a great way.
Id say in non-ppr there are only 3 top rbs and not 4 because of CMC ppr nature.

I really don't think evans is thatttt much better than cooper to make up for Mixon over whoever you would get at 1.07 from the 2nd tier of rookie rbs.

Only way I side with the Evans 1.07 side is if Kareem Hunt can be had there and that is impossible now.

I plan on taking hunt or cook at 6 and was going to take Perine at 7.

Wait what? I doubt Cook will be there at 1.06, and please don't take Hunt over Cook if he somehow is. Hunt at 1.06 is about right. I think Perine at 1.07 would be a mistake.

But yea, I think I would take Cooper and Mixon over Evans and whoever goes at 1.07.

Mike Evans is elite...Amari Cooper is very good...the rookie swap is relevant, but I don't see how this is even a debate.

I am taking Evans side here without any thought.

League Dynamics really overvalue RB. Always have always will. I will be forced into Perine at 7 since I have good TE and amazing WR already.
I would be taking whoever falls to me at 6 between cook or hunt. 7th is a monster drop in value in my opinion.

Evans, trade back and get Kamara later if you really want a RB. Don't reach for Perine at 7.

What is I move AJG or Julio instead of Evans. Does that change anything?

Kamara is crap to me in a non PPR league.

Evans is considered the best wr in a dynasty league. I would take the deal for Evans. The bucs seem like they will be a lot better this year and have a nice offense. DJAX and Howard will make it harder for teams to double Evans. He should get nice looks.

Do it!

Very tempting, but I think I'd keep Evans, definitely need to take the 1.07 out for me

Agreed. On the elite , very good. And if the owner believes Amari Cooper will only stay very good then don't do the deal.
I expect Cooper to become elite in his 3rd season this year. I think Cooper's price will become astronomical after this year ala AJ Green and Julio Jones a few years ago. I also think Joe Mixon is light years ahead of Samaje Perine in both talent and situation.

I take the Cooper side all day long. Don't see how this is a debate?

Make the deal, but see if you can send AJG instead. If you moved Julio I'd need a better pick than 1.07 in that swap.

Evans Cooper and Julio would be sweet.
