Keeper thoughts

Postby ts8801 » Sat Jan 22, 2011 5:32 pm

12 team 5 player keeper league with no penalties for keeping players
1qb 2-3 rbs 3-4 wr's 1td k d all td's there are a lot of bonuses, both for long td's and yardage goals

My current team is;
Rivers
MJD, Hillis, Blount, Grant, and Starks
Djax, Smith(NYG) and Harvin

Picks I have the 10th pick in they snake draft no extra picks as of now
1.10, 2.3, 3.10 etc.

I have a trade in agreement for Foster; my 1st and 3rd for foster and his 8th and 12th. I had the 10th pick in the first and I really think Foster will be huge going forward.

That would give me:
Rivers
Foster
MJD
Blount
Djax

I want to try and trade Hillis and the GB backfield, what do you think their value is. I have heard people all over the place on Hillis, some think he is a top 10 RB and some think he is a OYW who is destined for RBBC. I am also somewhat worried GB will draft a RB, anyone else feel that way or do you think GB thinks they are set with Grant/Starks/Kuhn/Jackson?

Both Jackson and Kuhn are going to be free agents and Grant has 1 year left on his contract. I think they will most likely bring Kuhn back and Grant/Starks will share the majority of the carries next season. I don't see them drafting a RB, especially early.

I'd look to deal Blount and Hillis and secure a better #5 keeper than Blount.

For the most part I agree w/skip but Blount didn't play in 3 games and still had pretty good stats during his rookie season. i think he has decent value for trading or keeping.

I agree with this. Maybe find someone stacked at stud WR.
