Make my trade fair (or tell me NO!)

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Make my trade fair (or tell me NO!)

Postby Slackalacker » Sun Aug 27, 2017 8:39 am

I want to make an offer for a top RB because I feel my depth there is pretty shallow. What do you think of this offer, is It even fair? Is it an undersell or an over sell? Is it insulting?

I give: Julio + Fournette
I get: Hopkins + Gordon

It's hard to value rookies already but I know I'd be securing two young studs for the price of one old/often injured mega stud and a dude who may be the next AP or could also be the next Trent richardson.

What do you think, do you make the offer or stand pat? IF YOURE THE OTHER OWNER do you consider this value or call it bogus?

BTW this is for team 1 in the sig.

I would consider it for sure..
Depends on how much the other guy likes LF.
If I were you I would stick with what I have though.

It's definitely fair, but I prefer the Hopkins/Gordon side.

I think it is fine trade...I'd keep Julio and Fournette...but if you want Gordon that is a fair price to get him. I'd personally rather try to trade LF and a 2nd + 3rd for Gordon

Trade is fair, but I think Nuk is going to have some nice years with Watson. I'm on the Nuk/Gordon side. We just never know with Jacksonville.

Why does every top running back have to be compared to T-Rich? That thinking seems like a recipe for undervaluing young studs. There's no way I'd trade Julio/Fournette for Nuk/Gordon. Gordon's 2016 versus the unknown of Fournette does not bridge the value gap between Julio and Nuk. Plus Fournette is way more talented, so you might be giving up the 2 best pieces here.
