Yeah, it doesn't seem like a ton to get in return but it's one of those situations where getting "something" is better than getting "nothing". A 2nd/3rd isn't inconsequential though. The Bills must have decided that they weren't giving Sammy a big contract next year, or have any aspirations of paying him 16-18mil on the tag next year. So from that standpoint, selling now and getting a couple solid picks is better than watching Sammy walk away next Spring.

Kinda off topic but I'm hoping this gets my league more active. It's been dead and this might be the news that gets all league back up and running. I am thinking a lot of trades will be going down in Dynasty leagues the next few days. Also, i would consider Mccoy a winner in this.

I don't own any shares of Goff or Watkins (in any of my 15 leagues), but I really think the Goff hate is a bit out of control. He and Wentz were the consensus 1/2 QBs in some order, Wentz just got lucky going to an offensive minded team and coach. Goff got to go to a team that had a terrible HC and a first time (and terrible) OC. I know we expect instant results anymore, but are we really just giving up on a QB going into his second season? His coaches improved, his OL improved, his WRs improved, his pass catching TEs improved, he still has a very talented RB behind him and a decent defense. This scheme and this coach made Kirk Cousins a very rich man, and I am not giving up hope that he could do the same with Goff.

Big loser here is Tavon. The 40 million dollar Jeff Fisher baby is headed to the bench now.

Your '17 Rams starting WR lineup: Watkins-Kupp-Woods, with Austin coming on in 4-wide sets and as a gadget. Watkins is the DeSean Jackson, Woods is the Garcon, and Kupp is the Crowder. And Everet/Higbee is his Jordan Reed. McVay is really all in reconstructing his Washington offense.

Big winner here is Goff. He was terribad last year, but hey, so was JJohn Elway his rookie year (worse, actually). McVay did wonder-work with Cousins the last two seasons. Now Goff actually has a legit offense to lean on. If he can possibly be a good NFL QB, the way is now paved for him.

Possibly but I don't think so...all his home games are warm weather and Taylor is a better fantasy QB but is he a better QB? I think McVey will find ways to get Sammy involved.

Do people really think Goff is trash? Pretty hard to even evaluate him last year considering defenses knew every single time he was going to throw.
