Golden Tate for 1.14

I was recently offered this trade:

Give: 1.14
Get: Golden Tate

My team is capable of winning now but I'm not sure I need the WR depth. I think there will be some reaches before 1.14 so I'd really like to stay and see the board while OTC but by that time this deal might not be an option. Which side would you go with here?

I wouldn't turn it down yet, but can you shop the pick and try to get a RB instead (maybe even adding something to it)?

I would easily take that, Tate is worth around the 1.7 for me. If you make the deal, do you think you can trade a WR for a RB?

Tate in a landslide. I don't understand why this guy gets no love. All he does is produce year in and year out and is their #1 WR.

There are only four WRs who have at least 90+ receptions in each of the past four years: Brown, OBJ, D. Thomas, and Tate.

Tate is 29-year old, #1 WR on a pass-first team. He's, at worst, about the most consistent WR2 available with legit WR1 upside. And you're getting him for 1.14?? In a 14-team league! I can't think of ANY situation in which I wouldn't take Tate in a heartbeat here. I'd pay 1.04 without a second thought.

Without question - take this.

From week 5 on last season, Tate was a top 10 WR in PPR leagues. He's the #1 option on a pass first team. He still has a minimum of 3 seasons of solid WR2 value with WR 1 weekly upside.

I think that's really good value getting Tate there. Buy now and try to flip him for a RB. Or trade one of your other WR for a back

I would agree with everyone....take the deal. However, I would say be careful about making the deal with the intention of flipping him. Tate, as stated a couple of times already, is vastly underrated in the FF community. It is very difficult to get appropriate value for him. I couldn't get a 1st for him last season, and I tried hard. Ended up wrapping him into a deal for OBJ.

I think you actually could use the WR depth. I'm not a big Cobb fan, and this may be Fitz's last year. Regardless, that's great value as others have said.
