In a rebuild

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

In a rebuild

Postby tdub » Wed Apr 26, 2017 3:37 pm

Going into 1st real year of a rebuild most of last season was spent selling off parts, making dumb deals and donating to the leagues pot.
I currently own the 1.01 and no other first round picks this year as of now. I was offered a trade for the 1.01 was offered the following list of players.
Blake Bortles, Kevin White, Latavius Murray, Jerick Mckinnon, and Matt Asiata

In return he gets the 1.01

Another option I have is I could trade the 1.01 for the 1.05 and 106
I have two firsts rounders in 2018 one as it sits is projected to be very early(mine, probably top 1 or 2) and the other is projected to be a late pick barring disaster due to injury.
So looking for opinions, do I trade the 1.01 for the players, move back and get two more picks, or hold tight and take my pick of player at 1.01?
Eagerly awaiting responses, have at it.

Even in a super flex, I wouldn't trade the 1.1 for that. Keep the pick and take Davis or whichever rb you like best. Trade Murray for a young qb. I'd probably trade Stafford and Bradford for youth too.

I'd counter the 1.5 and 1.6 and try and get a 3rd piece, shoot for an 18 1st.

In your situation, I would deal 1.1 for 1.5 and 1.6 but I would try to get something else tacked on, like a few 3rds or a 3rd and a 4th. Take as many swings at players as you can. I would also trade Murray, stafford, bradford, rudolph, wallace, Kearse, Twill watson, hill for the best deal you can emphasizing quantity of players/picks. Your team won't be ready to compete until 2018 at the earliest so if the player won't be a significant contributor for 2018, 2019, etc, sell them for whatever you can. Henry, Robinson, Coleman and Treadwell should b ethe only guys you are not actively trying to move, but if you can get good deals for them I wouldn't hesitate. Example, I would float Henry for a late 1st this year and a 1st next year, just accumulate assets and young players. If your going to rebuild, then commit to it and burn it down.
Too many to list....I have a problem

I'd keep the 1.01.
