My league is really down on Jeffery. I just offered him to an owner (an Eagles fan) for the 1.7 and was rejected because Jeffery is "too risky." Another owner told me the most he'd give is a 2nd rounder (that was before the signing but I doubt that would change.)

Philadelphia clearly doesn't think much of Matthews, DGB or Agholor, but we already knew that. One of them could benefit from Alshon and Smith though, and I'm guessing it will be Matthews in the slot.

I agree though, that Philadelphia all of a sudden has a lot of weapons. Alshon, Smith, Matthews, Ertz, Sproles...and they could end up drafting high on an RB as well.

I will pass on Alshon. Don't like this landing spot at all.

Also, I think the underlying news about this is the teams that were interested.

Minnesota reportedly offered Alshon more years and guaranteed money. Doesn't sound like a team that's really confident about Treadwell.

Indianapolis was in the mix too, which probably didn't bode well for Moncrief or Dorsett.

What was your preferred landing spot?

Philadelphia is a team that throws the ball a ton (6th in pass attempts/game) and has one of the worst WR group in the league even after the T. Smith signing. They also have a young, promising QB, even though he's not proven.

It's not like he was going to Green Bay with Adams / Cobb / Nelson leaving the team...
