Crowell plz.

As for Prosise:
-Rawls is a major impediment, probably hogging the majority of carries and goal line opps
-small sample size
-his likely range of targets is probably only 50-60

Seems like a guy zero-RB people would target because they're content getting RB20-30 production out of their RB spots. I'd much rather have someone more diverse but with less of that "unknown" luster like Abdullah. I'd be curious to see how people value Prosise vs. other receiving backs like Duke or Dion.

Rawls had a chance to blow Prosise out of the water this year after his injury and he did squat, blew up against sub-par defenses in Carolina (w/o LK) and Detroit.

As long as Prosise can remain healthy, I think he can control that backfield...but I don't think it's going to be easy just getting rid of Rawls.

I'm probably a bit biased because looked pretty scary against my Pats this year. As already said, Rawls showed squat this year, and Prosise looked explosive when healthy. If Seattle doesn't take a RB on day 1 or 2 this year, I'll probably be buying.

I'd only sell for something in the 1.07-1.09 range but only because I know I am probably getting an equal or better talent and the situation could be better.

Rawls was extremely underwhelming as mentioned. Prosise was recruited as a defensive back and changed to a wide receiver at Norte Dame. Then they asked him to be a RB and he rushed for over 1000 yards with no experience. So he's barely had over a year experience at the position. The main problem is that he struggled with injuries all year. If he wasn't hurt in camp and wasn't hurt early on in the season, he wold have had this backfield locked up.

We saw what he can do in the Patriots game, and we saw his explosiveness the following game vs. Philly and Rawls was back for that and played behind Prosise. I think this is a Jeremy Hill/Gio Bernard situation. Rawls will probably see 10-12 carries and rarely any catches and he'll get goal line looks. Prosise will also see about a 40% share on early downs and get all of 3rd downs. He could catch 60-70 balls as that offense continues to be more pass aggressive. And I imagine that will continue since that offensive line was so bad and I'm not sure they can dramatically improve it in 2017.

All in all, he's a hold for me as I am not buying RB's in January. Pete really likes him, but he likes Rawls too. The kid just has to stay healthy.

I'm battling myself trying to decide whether or not to trade my 2017 1.09 for Prosise and a mid-ish 1st in 2018. It's a PPR league and I need RB help. Suicide Squad in my sig.

We're talking about 30 carries. That is a tiny, tiny sample size - basically worthless. He only had more than 4 carries in one game and he averaged less than 4 ypc in that lone game. If the same size was bigger and he proved he could be a lead back, I'd pay a 1st, but an an unproven guy likely to be relegated to a specialist role, he's a mid 2nd for me at best. I've got plenty of depth. If I'm trading a decent draft pick for a guy, he needs to be projected for top 24 positional production (in my own rankings).

I'm definitely not a Rawls fan, but Carroll like him and he's super cheap so they're going to use him (plus he's got 256 regular season carries @ 4.6 ypc - that's a decent sample size). If both back stay healthy, I'll be shocked if Prosise gets more than 80 carries and 60 targets.

I think Seattle drafted Prosise with the intention of throwing to the RB position more, but it's worth looking at the past 4 year averages for the team: 376 RB carries, 78 RB targets.
Even if they can get up to 400 and 100, I expect the splits to be:

Rawls - 240 and 30
Prosise - 80 and 60
Collins, etc - 80 and 10

Yes, it is absolutely a tiny sample size, I don't dispute that. It's the passing game that interests me more than the number of carries. I don't see Rawls getting 30 targets unless Prosise continues to be hurt. Rawls has played more than a full year combined, and still hasn't reached 30 career targets. He's just not a factor in the passing game. Prosise brings that element, and the Gio Bernard comp someone mentioned above is not a bad one, although Prosise is considerably more raw and unproven.

Again, I admitted at the outset that I was totally biased because when he played the Pats I was scared every time he touched the ball.

I traded Procise and Perkins away for Gio because I think Procise best case is Gio...and he will have to stay healthy to do that.
I really like him and he may have loads of potential but wouldn't pay more than a late 1st early second to own him. I think he will get a bigger share than the numbers someone projected above if he is healthy

TWO firsts if I am reading this correctly? No way should you pay that much for him, went early 2nd most leagues in a weak rookie draft. I took him 2.1 with my only shares and he is a hold. I'd offer early to mid second and go from there if interested. If offering the 1.9 you should look for something in return like a 3rd back as a thought.

Assuming you are getting prosise plus the 2018 1st for the 1.09, I'd do that immediate. Whether or not I'm a contender or rebuilding. Do that deal.

Anyone thinking that Rawls poses a threat to get a high volume of carries wasn't paying attention at all to 2016. He made Seattle look like a bunch of fools for releasing Christine Michael. Rawls was bloody awful and in my estimation stands little to no chance of keeping Prosise off the field.

I had him in two leagues, and traded for him in a third back on thanksgiving. Figured that he'd be cheap for a while, but people would be less likely to sell in the offseason unless Rawls broke out. I ended up dealing Rob Kelley, a 2nd (2.6 this year), and a 4th in '18 for him. I saw enough to believe that at worst he's probably a Gio if he can stay healthy, but if he lands the starting gig, he'll become a legit starter.

Considering all the defections from the 1st round projected guys this year, I'd consider dealing a late first for him, but not a pick in the top 8. The pick will just become more valuable with time, if I did trade the 1.8, I'd probably want to do the 1.8 for Prosise and an '18 2nd or something like that.

I give my 1.09 and get Prosise and a mid-ish 2018 1st. I think I may pull the trigger.
