Got an offer of 1.03, 2.04 and a 2018 1st for the 1.01 and 2.01. Is it worth moving down two spots in the 1st and three spots in the 2nd to add another 1st in 2018? That'd give me three '18 1sts to play around with.
I know it's a fool's errand to try to project picks that far out, but the team making the offer was a playoff team this year but isn't a particularly great team on paper. If I had to wager a guess, I'd expect the pick to be somewhere in the 1.04-1.08 range.

Maybe its fair, maybe its not. As an owner of the 1.01, I would need a lot more to move off of Dalvin Cook.

That's pathetically weak

I especially hate the fact that you have to give up the 2.01 in this deal.

Re: 1.01 offer
If I asked him to include Brees on his end, would that be enough to balance it out?
I've also heard chatter that the guy with the 1.02 might actually be leaning towards Williams, so it's possible I could still get Fournette or Cook at 1.03.

Don't sell the 1.01 until shortly before your league draft. Let everyone get infected with rookie fever and cash in then

Re: 1.01 offer
Since you have what he wants, I would definitely take off the 2.01. I don't hate the idea of moving down 2 spots especially to get an extra 1st next year. If you can get Bree's added in and get him to take out the 2.01 I would consider pulling the trigger. Just remember the 1.01 is going to keep getting more valuable up to the NFL draft so keep that in mind when working a deal. Good luck!

Good point. No rush. Rookie fever will reach a fever pitch once these players receive homes. I don't intend to make any more trades until then.

Re: 1.01 offer
Add Brees and take the 2.01 out, then maybe.
Don't know about your leagues but in mine it is misdirection time. Even if the 1.02 prefers Williams, could trade the pick to someone who wants one of the top 2 RBs.

Re: 1.01 offer
This. Not enough to move back, 1.01's value will exponentially grow in value once combine/draft take place. Unless your getting 1.02 or can positively guarantee 1.02 is taking a wr i'd stay put.that one guy wrote: ↑Mon Jan 16, 2017 1:38 pm Don't sell the 1.01 until shortly before your league draft. Re: 1.01 offer
I would wait until this summer to sale off the 1.1 if that's what your looking to do. The value of that pick is going up each second that ticks off the clock leading up to your draft this summer.

Re: 1.01 offer
Could also work out a deal with 1.02 to swap for 1.03 and a low pick to guarantee yourself one of the 2 RBs after you've agreed to the 1.01 deal.
Re: 1.01 offer
What if I could get Julio straight up for the 1.01? That's a no-brainer, right?

Re: 1.01 offer
I would keep the 1.01 and draft Corey Davis.
Obviously wait for the combine but if there are quality receivers available that's where I personally would invest a top 5 pick. The WR assets will always hold their value for longer than the RBs.
I would take a deal to move back and use the outcome of 2016 to draft the quality receivers while the others, fooled by the 2016 result, pursue the Cooks and Fournettes. Not that they won't themselves be great players, but there was no Mike Williams, or Corey Davis, or even JuJu in last year's class. It was a bunch of guys who best case might end up being Brandin Cooks (like John Ross this year). In a year where the best RB prospect landed behind the best Oline in football.
Fournette and Cooks are not slam dunks like Zeke was last year, at least not yet. I would take advantage of the people who look at those two and see Zeke's 2016 season and capitalize, while taking Davis or Williams straight to the bank.
But that's just me.
