Oh boy, traded Merideth and what will most likely be the 2.01 in 2017 (2.02 at worst) for him right after his first game back. My RB's were dropping like flies (Abdullah, woodhead, lacy, martin) and I needed a productive one.

I am not fully versed on his contract details, but from what I can tell he would be a 7M hit to the cap, which is kind of high for an older RB, and if he gets cut there is no dead cap. I can't see him being in KC unless he restructures and takes a lot less money. It will also probably depend on how Ware finishes the year.

Could go either way. Ware is under contract for pretty cheap over the next two years. I'm not aware of what KC's bigger priorties would be, but Ware seems to be doing more than enough to stop any questions about the position.gurnsy200 wrote:Going to be interesting on draft day. Even after leaving the game early last week, Ware is averaging 5.0 ypc and is in the top 5 for yards from scrimmage/game for the entire league. Some owners are sleeping on Ware....

Charles is done in KC - and might just be done overall to be honest.
He will be almost 31 by the time next season starts; not to mention coming off back to back season ending injuries.
In regards to KC; I can't see them investing an early draft pick in an RB. I'm sure they'll still grab an RB somewhere in the middle rounds; but they really like Spencer Ware. He should be the guy there next year at least; beyond that, not really sure.

They just re-signed both of them. They will need to add a RB, if they cut Charles, but Ware is probably the guy for the next few years. He's been super productive with his touches. Look at his YPC and YPR. Ridiculous. It took me a while to come around on him, but I bought him a week ago. I paid a 2018 first some change.
