Over the weekend I decided to pack it in for the season and made the following trades in a 0.3 PPR league
Gave: DeAndre Hopkins
Got: a 2017 1st (top 3 pick), a 2018 1st (likely late pick) and Jordan Reed.

Gave: Carlos Hyde and a 2017 3rd round pick
Got: a 2018 1st (top 3 pick) a 2018 4th round pick.

How do you know a 2018 pick will be top 3?
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

It's a guess. You're right it might not be top 3 but there is a fairly high probability of it being top 3. The team has had a top 3 pick the last 3 years and is trending in the same direction moving forward. Traded for older players during this season and gave up most of his 2017 draft picks and his record is 1-6 right now.

Dynasty trades:
*Matt Asiata for '17 4th (did this in 3 leagues)
Reasoning: Clearing roster space for '17 rookies
---------------------------------------------------------------
*Sammie Coates and Jay Ajayi (two days before he blew up for 200+) for a '17 4th and an '18 1st

*Matt Ryan and Brian Quick for Derrick Henry and Kirk Cousins

*Flipped Kirk Cousins for '17 3rd and '18 5th

Reasoning: Orphan total rebuild-attempting to acquire picks and roster space by dealing vets I'm not high on, and young prospects.
---------------------------------------------------------------
* Traded Theo Riddick for '17 2nd

*Traded '17 and '18 2nd's and Jamison Crowder for John Brown

*Traded Asiata for '17 4th

Reasoning: Productive Struggle squad with Keenan Allen, Martavis Bryant, and Ameer Abdullah out for the year.
----------------------------------------------------------------

*Traded Matt Ryan, Lamar Miller, Ken Dixon, Darren Sproles, Phillip Dorsett and '17 2nd for Todd Gurley, Kevin White, Cameron Meredith, Tyrell Williams and an '18 3rd

Reasoning: Squad was 10th in scoring but a 6th seed playoff seed. Didn't buy the record and decided to try to build for '17 (own multiple high 1sts and 2nd's).
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Traded Spencer Ware for Theo Riddick and a '17 1st

Flipped Theo Riddick for a '17 2nd

Reasoning: Team wrecked by injuries-Abdullah, Watkins, Doctson all out, decided to flip assets to build for '17-now own 2 '17 1sts, and 5 '17 2nd's, as well as Gurley, OBJR, Evans, Watkins, Doctson, Coates and Perriman (and Abdullah).

Agreed, it's an overpay at this point, but in a year or two I think I'll be happy. Wanted to move Forte while his value was high while buying low on Treadwell.
Yeah, but you accomplished neither of those goals with the trade. Yes, you moved Forte, but you got nowhere near high value for him.
Agree 100%. You sold forte as a throw-in. I don't see how this is buying low on treadwell.

I would think Cobb is worth more than Treadwell atm...let alone adding Forte...

PPR league.

Gave: Sharpe
Got: Montgomery

I'm contending, other owner is rebuilding. Not sure what to think about either WR long term, but Montgomery appears to be in a juicy PPR situation rest of season.

2-QB league. Only an 8-team league, but we have larger starting rosters to make up for it (basically, it plays like a 10 team league). I have Luck/Brady as my top QBs, and Bortles and Lynch on the bench. Having watched how horrible Bortles is, I don't want to start him weeks 9 and 10 during the Luck/Brady bye weeks. Siemian has great matchups and should be able to put up decent numbers. With having Lynch, I'm guaranteed the Broncos' starting QB as my QB3 for the season. And I'm just not a believer in Bortles. In a vacuum I know Bortles is worth more, but for my team right now this was a better win now move.
Bad deal IMO..

Bortles is having a bad year and should rebound and be great in the coming years while i fear that Simian may not have a job in the coming years as i don't see him as a franchise QB.
Bortles is a bust. I don't think anybody is buying the idea that he can rebound at this point. He's been awful for 2 of 3 years and his one quality year statistically doesn't look so good when you look under the hood in regards to how he actually produced the #'s. I have him on a two year contract for 22 mill in an RSO league. People in the league never seemed to entirely get that the league is superflex and QB's inherently carry more value, but regardless, I have been unsuccessful in moving him for what I felt was fair comp. Hate having him on my roster as I never trust him enough to start him and it cost me this past week when he had yet another classic Bortles Garbage game that could have pushed me to victory if I hadn't started Winston instead.

Think you undersold Ajayi.Coates but the rest look good. Not sure why an 18 1st is going to be worth more than a young RB that put up 400+ yards in 2 weeks. I guess if you have really short benches

I would argue Crowder is just as valuable as John Brown in PPR so that one looks strange

Was out of the running in one of my contract dynasty leagues so have started a rebuild. In the last few weeks have pulled off the following:

Gave: Nelson (1yr)
Got: 2017 1st

Gave: Edelman (1yr), Jerrell Freeman (2yr) and Tahir Whitehead
Got: Josh Gordon (1yr), Paul Perkins (Taxi), 2017 2nd (x2)

Gave: Matt Ryan (1yr)
Got: Andy Dalton (4yrs), Dante Fowler (4yrs) & 2017 2nd.

So I now have 2 firsts next year, both looking like they'll be top 5 and 4 second rounders. My plan is to hold the picks and then look at what they can get me closer to the draft.
Superflex, PPR. Start 1-2QB, 2-4RB, 3-5WR & 1-2TE

QB: Watson, Herbert, Lance, Bridgewater, Minshew
RB: McCaffrey, Ekeler, Hines, Fournette, Hyde, J Williams,
WR: Diggs, Lamb, Hilton, Mims, Crowder, Reynolds, G Davis, Washington, Watkins
TE: Kittle, Hooper

Needed to upgrade my last Flex Spot in a 16 team PPR, PPC, League.

Gave:
2017 1st Probably 8-12
C Peake

Get:
J Stewart
2017 3rd Late

Maybe a touch of an overpay but I didn't feel like going into the playoffs with having to count on Willie Snead as my last flex and this was an extra pick I acquired in a Kelvin Benjamin trade before the season.
