Hey All,
Let me apologize first if there is a forum for trade discussions as I did not see one.
Now on with my question.
I recently have been talking trade with another manager. The trade goes: Outgoing: Reggie Wayne and a 14th pick...Incoming: Desean Jackson and 9th rounder.
My feeling, Reggie is now 31 I personally believe he has 2 solid years left with high production. Indy has a wide array of quality recievers, too many for one reciever to stand out. Peyton is the best player to have in their passing offense from a fantasy perspective. In return I would be receiving one of the games best young recievers who quite possibly is the most eplosive and dangerous recievers in the NFL who could score with any touch.
Im just curious on your thoughts before I jump the gun,
Cheers
ShitStainShane

Re: Trade
I would rather ride Wayne another few seasons but I'm not real high on DeSean...
BTW, sorry to hear about the stain Shane...

Re: Trade
I agree with Mark. I am not high on DeSean at all. I would much rather have Wayne. He'll easily post 1200+ yards with 8-12 TD's for at least a couple more seasons IMO

Re: Trade
Not a big DeSean Jackson fan. I agree that I do not think Wayne has more than a few seasons left - just don't think this is the right deal for you.

Taxi Squad: Tebow, Crabtree, Jeffrey, Hill, Gordon

Re: Trade
What does your WR position look like? If you have an already old team this trade would give you a youthful long term keeper but an older team may mean a competing team. So I can see a benefit and a down side depending on your roster.
Skill wise I would rather have Wayne's production for the next 3 years than DeSean.

Thanks to all for a quick response, I was thinking the same thing about Reggie, hes just too hard to let go of right now. Unless the manager was willing to upgrade the draft pick! BUt why all of you hating on D-Jax? just curious?
POst Above, My 3 WRs Wayne, White, Fitzy (WWF baby!) There also my 3 keepers too.

Re: Trade
For me D-Jax is too inconsistent to start. And now with Kolb tossing the rock, who knows how those two will mesh. I don't like his attitude ,either. He comes across as arrogant to me. And lastly, his skill lies strictly with his speed. One tweak of an ankle, he loses a step and becomes worthless IMO.

Re: Trade
His production comes on the deep ball, which will make him far too inconsistent an option for a player of his size. He will be the #3 option in the passing game this season behind Maclin and Celek.shitstainshane wrote:BUt why all of you hating on D-Jax? just curious?
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.
