First, Colt is nowhere near Brees-like or Manning-like (Peyton or Eli). Second, Gilbert acquitted himself pretty well throwing for almost 200 yards and 2 TDs. Alabama was just simply the better team.

Hmmm, I don't know, Texas almost pulled it off with a really raw Gilbert at QB, I think if McCoy had stayed healthy that game, Texas would win it, IMO :thumbup:

I would say Longhorns based on a healthy McCoy changes the entire complexion and imho it comes down to a last posession type game.
