**Trade** K.Benj+4.6 for 1.3 / Draft Tips

From the team in my Sig, I just Traded away K.Benj(+17' - 4.6) for the 1.3 pik in this years draft.. To me, I felt like I was lucky to have this offer accepted so quickly, as I will be taking a guy 4or5 yrs younger w/o the knee hit, and both are talented guys.. Thoughts??

I already own the 1.2+5.2 ( through a trade last year) and the #8 throughout the rest of the draft (came in 3rd last year) but I have no 1.8 or 3.8

I am taking Treadwell at 1.2 [unless a miracle happens] and am stuck debating whether to take Shepard or Coleman at 1.3

I feel some are undervaluing rookie pix this yr, and with it being a superflex league [and me being a bit aged at qb] thoughts on pushing for another trade to take Goff in the back of the 1st? I think I can make this happen at a relatively low cost..



I am relatively new to being on DLF [was here last yr, but didn't register] and I don't now what took me so long..
BUT.. now that I am in I am going to begin to take the advice of some Vets and respond to 3 forum questions for every question I post..
I encourage all newcomers to do the same.. Bring something to the table..

Also I'm a big Shepard fan, so he's my pick at 1.03. Others will disagree I'm sure.

I'd rather have KB, especially since you have 1.2 (so you don't get extra value from the possibility of Treadwell dropping to 1.3).

I promise it's not rookie fever.. I just don't view K.Benj as they player most other do.. Plus Olsen and Funchess..

I can see Shepard seeing just as many targets and doing more with them.. maybe not this September, but I feel I have a good enough WR stable to survive the transition for both Treadwell and Shepard..

That was my thinking at least..

Coleman > Shepard sorry. Number 1 in there offence. I don't mind Shepard but he is behind odell. There are limited fantasy relevant number 2 wrs in the league.
Granted Gordon could come back but his appearance would not affect coleman in year 1 and gordon probably won't be on the team.

I'd have probably hung onto KBenjamin rather than the 1.03 but now that you made that move take Coleman or Doctson. There is no way I am taking Shepard ahead of either of them.

I don't like KB at his current price and think you did great getting the 1.03 for his was good considering you don't like him either.


As for the 1.03 I would easily take Coleman over Shepard. Have you thought about trying to trade back to 1.04 or 1.05? I would be willing to bet money that there's no way Shepard goes before the 1.05 pick so you could trade back and get an extra pick and still be basically guaranteed to get one of these guys.



PS, all the BOLD text and color changes hurt my eyes lol
