Ok, a guy in my league wants Royal or McCluster. He is offering me Barber for either of them. This is a ppr league start 2 qbs, 2 wrs, 2 rbs 1 op(any) 1 te
I have at RB: DeAngelo, Grant, Felix Jones, Michael Bush, Lynch
I have at WR: AJ, Jennings, Britt, T.O., McCluster, Royal, Manningham, Naanee
Would it make sense to trade for Barber because I also have Felix? I could also get Caddy for either Royal or McCluster.
Barber/Royal/McCluster??
Re: Barber/Royal/McCluster??
i'm not as down on barber as most. and i dont trust the denver passing game so i'd gladly trade royal for barber.

Barber is the back to own in Dallas anyway, so you definitely want him and I would trade either of those two for him without batting an eye. Don't trade for Caddy. Get Barber.

Re: Barber/Royal/McCluster??
Thats my issue here, I don't know which WR i like better. 2 years ago, with Cutler, Royal was 6th among WRs in our league and then last year McDouche didn't use him and he was worthless. McCluster is a huge question mark because no one knows how he will be used but can be explosive.

If you feel that Felix may not be the "man" then I would do the deal, if not then I would pass...either way it's fair either way imo...Warhawks wrote:Thats my issue here, I don't know which WR i like better. 2 years ago, with Cutler, Royal was 6th among WRs in our league and then last year McDouche didn't use him and he was worthless. Re: Barber/Royal/McCluster??
I would easily trade either WR for Barber. So, then the question is which one should you send packing. Personally, I would send him McCluster. Royal has shown that he can produce, and he may very well be able to rebound this season, while McCluster has not proven anything on the NFL level yet.

WR: Green, Marshall, Roddy, Jennings, Roddy, Bowe, Maclin, Britt, A Brown, Williams (TB), Collie, Smith (STL)
TE: Graham, Finley, F Davis, Cook
Taxi Squad: Tebow, Crabtree, Jeffrey, Hill, Gordon

Re: Barber/Royal/McCluster??
I'd rather have Caddy than Barber, Royal, or McCluster. At least Caddy has a starting gig and he played a healthy season in '09. He looked good in watching a few Bucs games last year, can catch the ball, and I expect their offense to improve and help his YPC increase this season.skip wrote:Barber is the back to own in Dallas anyway, so you definitely want him and I would trade either of those two for him without batting an eye. This article breaks down the bucs fantasy contributions. They fully support my thoughts on the Tampa backfield: stay away. Neither Caddy or Ward are anything spectacular and aren't worth rostering. I'd much rather have Barber then Caddy. McCluster is a guy I wouldn't want to move, he is very explosive and will be used in a variety of ways in KC. Royal I might give up for Barber. Obviously Marion has a limited lifespan in the NFL with his running style, however I don't know that Royal can be as big as once projected. Its looking more and more like his rookie season may be about his ceiling (and I own Royal).

I probably would stay with what you have. Not a big fan of Barber..I like the explosiveness and potential of McCluster and still think Royal will come back once they use him appropriately.

X2 - Sorry Barber fans, I don't think he has that much left, plus Jerry Jones is madly in love with Felix JonesBradyT wrote:I probably would stay with what you have. I would only change from the above if your league awards points for Kick/Punt returns. If so, then trade Royal and keep McCluster. Else, go with Grid and ship McCluster out.

Barber all the way.
