He's a buy for me. He has slid a few spots since last year, but there is no way his touchdown totals will be as low as they were this past year. He was a touchdown machine his rookie year, I think he will find some middle ground this year. Going into year 3, another year with Winston maturing and growing, I expect big things this year. I have him in the same conversation with Robinson.

Sellers would be foolish to sell him low. I paid quite a bit to get him, because I think he's worth it. This is a guy with crazy size speed combination. He's really still just learning the game as well being that he started playing football late. He's got top 5 upside in my opinion and a very high floor. No reason to sell for pennies on the dollar.

He's buy low but nobody's selling him low that I've seen.

If I'm looking at what I expect him to do in the future and compare it to what he did in '15, then he's a buy for me. He's definitely not a "buy low" though in most cases. His DLF ADP is 7, and all the Evans owners in leagues that I'm in value him as a 1st round startup player. With dynasty owners being so youth-centric for the most part, there are Evans owners that I've talked to that wouldn't trade him straight up for guys like Julio/Brown because of the age difference. His price is very high and probably doesn't have much room to increase going forward, but he's a young WR that I expect to put up WR1 numbers for a long time.

Leaving aside "low" and "high" for a moment. I see Evans as a buy.

This is all accurate, he was a great buy low target, only nobody was selling low. I couldn't acquire him without a serious overpay.

I don't think he is either buy low or sell high. I would say his value is pretty fair.

When the season ended I traded Evans/Abdullah for ARob/ASJ. I feel like that's a pretty balanced trade; wasn't selling high on him and other owner was not buying low.

That said, I absolutely do not understand those that say he struggled in 2015.

I think this is related to his low catch rate (50%) and low TD numbers (3). I think both are will bounce back this season.

Even with that, he played with a rookie QB and had more yards than his rookie year in less playing time.

He's also still younger than Doctson and many 2015 rookies.

With his age and Winston, considering the way he performed his first 2 seasons, I'd expect 80/1200/6 from him on a regular basis for years to come.

As has been said though, who's selling?

Was offered 1.01 and DT
for Evans and 2107 1st (late, reigning lg champ)
SO , I sold, the buyer did not buy low. He got younger at wr, I got Zeke and was already stacked at wr, now added DT to it.
Or you might say I did sell high. I drafted him, so not much invested. Rarely ever started him last yr, he just sat there on my bench. or When I did put him, I never expected too much and that usually what I got, a pedestrian type production.

I can't remember who originally said it, but I agree with a sentiment I saw a few months ago, which is,

Buyers currently have a buy-low mentality/valuation toward Evans that doesn't meet sellers prices because most Evans owners are still very high on him. Most Evans owners do not want to trade him from what I have seen, so it seems to have lead to an off-season where he is mostly a hold and very few trades go down with him involved.

Based on rankings, and TB's offense appearing to be on the upswing (I have no dynasty shares of Evans) but no way I'd be selling.

Agree with both of these statements. I think the hammy that was hampering him for training camp and the beginning of the season really set him back and messed up the time where he could have been developing chemistry with his rookie QB. Even with all the drops I thought he had a very impressive year and expect a big bounce back as well. A lot of people were worried about OBJ hitting a sophomore slump at this time last year, but instead Evans did. That being said, if that was his floor, sign me up.

I think the trade mentioned is balanced as you said, top ten WR1 for top ten WR1 some may be higher or lower on either, and upside prospect for upside prospect, also which some are higher and some are lower on. Interesting to swap TB receiving pieces in Evans vs ASJ to stay with what should be a major component of their air game and to pair that with ARob.
