The group of guys that we have are a mixed bag in terms of personalities: couple old guys, some younguns, apprehensive, extremely approachable, etc. etc.. Most are relatively new to dynasty (eg. the two years of this league and no other league experience) and can sometimes be gun shy as they're still learning the fundamentals. This will be the league's third year, and we still have 9 of the original 12 owners. A lot of the guys know at least one other guy in the league, so it has the feel of a home league, to a degree. A lot of crap talking, big egos, and even some hurt feelings (obviously nothing over the top or offensive). Fun stuff, if you ask me..

To be perfectly transparent so you know what you'd be getting yourself into, I'd think that the league could really do with another active owner, but one who wouldn't get impatient with noobs (either slow responses, skewed values, or what have you), in my view. That being the case, it's probably not a league for everybody, but it's still a fun league.

The team looks to have taken a couple of hits lately (Calvin, Martavis), and this won't be a comprehensive list (for that, you can check out the individual team page), but it could still be competitive right away or even a candidate for a re-load:
