Akers vs Etienne

Postby ekilla183 » Fri Nov 05, 2021 7:58 am

Both coming off significant injury, both have talented runners beside them on the team, who do you like more long term?

Injury significance says Etienne may have a better shot at coming back closer to 100%, but Akers shown he can do it at the NFL level and is on the better offense. Trade deadline is looming and looking for a solid “buy low”

Etienne because of the injury he sustained versus the one AAkers did. Etienne's injury is also concerning for a RB but if I had to choose right now, I would rather have Etienne.

Yea I think this is the way I lean as well. Still worried about Etienne but there is some solid sample of skill players coming back from Lisfranc (Westbrook, Bell, Julio, etc) which makes me feel a bit better

Agree with the above. It could go either way but we know they're both quite talented...and the injury history says bet on ETN for a higher probability of success.
