Chris Godwin vs. Antonio Brown

Postby SkillsPino » Wed Aug 11, 2021 11:18 am

I have both on my roster and don't like the thought of playing them together. Godwin is costing me 14M while I got AB at 2M. It seems as if TB will spread the wealth, so having both doesn't make a lot of sense. Should I trade Godwin and keep AB? Or is Godwin going to be substantially better?

Godwin is a much better option than Brown both now and long term. Godwin was top 3 scoring WR in 2020 and played fairly well overall despite being hurt all last year. I'm not buying the camp hype at all around Brown and while the ball will likely be spread around, depending on return this could really set your team back. I would be looking to move Brown personally.

I could see AB leading this team in receptions. He's a good value for 2 million. I think you can keep both. They are both going to be productive IMO. Evans is going to be more TD dependent, but I see all 3 being WR2's. Brady in year 2 with more comfort is going to light it up if he stays healthy.
