I'm very high on Smith but worry a bit about his size. I'm guessing he puts on weight coming into the league, but that is not always a positive for players when they bulk up so I will be watching that closely. I think it's easy to forget just how dominant Chase was after not playing this year. He is not huge, but has a bit more of a typical wr build. Chase to me is the safer player on the surface. I don't think either flip but it's tough to say how Smith translates. As always, landing spots will help too. I think one of them lands in Philadelphia.

Very tough to say at this point. I'm currently leaning Chase, but Smith has really closed the gap for me. I can't wait to see how these guys do at pro days (more so Chase, just because we haven't seen him lately) and where they land!

It's Chase and not that close for me--as great of a collegiate WR as Smith is

Smith was Bama's best WR last season (2019), with Jeudy on board. But size is his big knock.

Chase kinda came out of nowhere. But man he was exciting to watch.

I kinda lean chase because of the explosion, but landing spot and Pro Day's will tell us a lot.

He was a sophmore, not sure that isn't just getting more opportunities versus coming out of nowhere. He's also 2 years younger than Smith. Don't care where he lands, I want Chase more than I have wanted any other WR in a long time

fair points. just meant that I have less to go on with him.

Where would you rank Chase and Smith with the incoming rookies in '19 & '20. Pre NFL draft rankings, before we knew landing spots?

I am a huge Chase fan, Chase would have been my no1 last year hands down with Lamb 2nd and Reagor 3rd (I know, probs don't take my advice :wall: ) I was never a Ruggs or Jeudy guy and would have preferred Smith later in the draft than taking Jeudy where he was going.
I have been a Smith guy since last year and do love him but it's Chase for me without any hesitation.

In the National Championship game in 2019 Chase completely dominated.????? I forget who it was but it was a first round cornerback.

Smith size really bothers me. I have see too many Tavon Austins, Henry Ruggs, etc, who are used too sparingly to be fantasy relevant. I would go with Chase.
