End of the bench RBs

Postby CastropBadger » Sun May 17, 2020 1:29 pm

Currently trying to prioritize 2nd year and this year's low end rookie RBs.

How would you rank them? Some thoughts from me:

Long-term, I feel McFarland and Dallas might carve out a starter role (depending on Connor and Carson) Upside RB2 due to situation, but potentially have to wait 1 year. Who would you target in your team?

Tony Pollard as a short term insurance for Zeke. Short term RB2.

Eno Benjamin change of pace back upside? RB3 flex upside?

Bowden: standalone RB3 upside right away? Capped to a high flex inside?

Justice Hill: low end handcuff, potential as change of pace back? RB4

I think mcfarlands athleticism gives him the higher upside. I like pollard but he literally had no relevance unless zeke gets hurt. Dallas would prolly be my second choice after McFarland

Something about McFarland’s tape and that landing spot that makes him a very intriguing RB prospect for me. I am taking him in the late 3 rd where I can. He has the most direct route to relevance imo. Like him..

Yea he’s bigger then people think and actually runs more physical then expected. Plus his sophomore production was ridiculous

McFerland would be my top choice here.

I just can't see McFarland's frame holding up enough for fantasy production. I will say Bowden. Good draft capital and the NFL is as close to positionless offensive football as it has ever been. Also he screams to me a guy that Gruden has plans for

McFarland is actually thicker then people think. He has the same BMI as askers and is only slightly below swift

Yes this. McFarland will see touches this year and could take over the backfield next year if Conner doesn't get extended. Also the injury history of Samuels and Conner paves a route to relevance this year. Snell is terrible IMHO.

Dallas would be second just because Pete does not care at all where someone is drafted ie look at Carson and Penny draft spots. But both are recovering from serious injuries and could easily lead to some serious touches for Dallas.
