Sanders or Jacobs going forward?
Having a discussion with my league mates on who will probably be the better fantasy producer to have on your team going forward. Thoughts?

Re: Sanders or Jacobs going forward?
Sanders has all the hype in the world right now, mainly because Philly hasn’t added anyone at RB while the Raiders have added Booker and Bowden, but I still would want Jacobs in a vacuum. The better football player, IMO.
Sanders is a better version of Tevin Coleman (which isn’t a bad thing, but I don’t think he’s going to be a rock star RB1 for the next 3 years)

Re: Sanders or Jacobs going forward?
Prefered Sanders last year so nothing has changed for me, so far Philly is yet to add another competing back and I'm not sure the Raiders are ever going to pass Jacobs the ball unfortunately (as he is a very good pass catcher).

Re: Sanders or Jacobs going forward?
If that were to happen I would change my vote to Jacobs as they were both very close for me, I will say that Hyde doesn't scare me in the slightest but it would be enough to move Jacobs up.joeya2001 wrote: ↑Mon May 11, 2020 7:15 amhere comes Carlos Hyde!lukkynumber13 wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 11:47 am Sanders has all the hype in the world right now, mainly because Philly hasn’t added anyone at RB while the Raiders have added Booker and Bowden, but I still would want Jacobs in a vacuum. Sanders had a better rookie year and his organization is showing they have confidence in him. It's Sanders.

Jacobs for me but the gap isn't huge. I think Sanders is really talented and it'll be hard to keep him from getting snaps

He'd a better year because he played more games. Jacobs missed 3 games and was 9 points behind in half point ppr. Not sure how sanders had the better year if I'm honest.MFundercover wrote: ↑Sat May 16, 2020 5:57 pm Sanders had a better rookie year and his organization is showing they have confidence in him. Re: Sanders or Jacobs going forward?
Considering the touches are going to be much closer going forward, I dont see any argument to be made for Jacobs except for draft capital. Its definitely Sanders right now.dirkey wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 1:35 amInteresting. Re: Sanders or Jacobs going forward?
Ah, I hear ya. I actually don't expect the touches to be closer, Pedersen has always been rbbc, I expect them to pick someone up in FA. They were very vocal about missing Howard down the stretch.MFundercover wrote: ↑Sun May 17, 2020 2:02 amConsidering the touches are going to be much closer going forward, I dont see any argument to be made for Jacobs except for draft capital.
