It's not that far off. Sanders is the choice, but it's not like he's a superstar and Deebo is a dud. They both flashed good potential as rookies. Sanders is the choice because of positional value, though.

I still think it's pretty far off, even putting the obvious positional scarcity aside. However, the real kicker here for me is that Sanders receiving line was 50-509, while Deebo's was only 57-802. I'm not trying to slight Deebo's rookie production because it is quite impressive, but Sanders just finished a rookie season where he really only saw "bellcow" production during the back half of the season and still amassed 1300+ yards from scrimmage with elite receiving back upside. It is pretty far off for me.
