Eric Ebron

Whats the current thinking regarding Eric Ebron in 2020 - does he have any chance of being resigned by Indy with them extending Doyle and Cox or is he definitely a goner in FA

Do you think with a new team he can become a TE1 for fantasy or was 2018* a fluke. He is coming off of ankle surgery on both ankles

I think he moves on from Indy, but I have zero faith in him moving forward. If he lands in the right spot, he could have a good year but I would not bank on it. The one good year he had, his reception to TD ratio was unrealistic to maintain and he had just never been that good fantasy wise.

Ballard said yesterday that they’re moving on from ebron. I sold him last year at his peak and was excited to do so. I really think his 2018 season was a product of Luck + a TE heavy scheme. I really doubt he gets to reliable TE1 status again

Ebron is the classic contract year player. He is lazy, bad hand, fumbles a lot after the catch and either refuses and is in able to learn a playbook.

Your first clue that he blows should be that he was drafted by the Lions....over Aaron Donald, which was a big position of need for them given they passed on Fairley, another first round busts, 5th year option and it was obvious from year 1 Suh was not going to retire as a Lion.

Given all the really good move tight ends that have entered the league over the last few years and this year, its hard to see that lazy stiff every being startable in fantasy football. He will be in the NFL, just not worth being on a fantasy roster.

depends on his landing spot, if he goes to somewhere like NE where the TE depth is lacking and they love the position, he might be worth a stash. definitely wouldnt give anything up for him unless it was super cheap, also dont know if you could sell him for anything. If you have him he's worth a stash, otherwise i wouldnt bother

He is one guy who I think landing spot does not matter. He is just there to collect a paycheck and plays like it. He will under perform no matter what situation he lands in.
