Justice Hill Long term

Postby Zech13 » Tue Nov 19, 2019 3:23 pm

How do you see Justice Hill's future? Is he in line to be the lead runner in Baltimore? Is he a 3rd down guy? Do the Ravens draft another runner in 2020 to be the guy?

Thanks.

I think he will always be a complimentary back.

I don’t think he has the size to be a three down back. He has the speed and hands to be the 3rd back or fast back.

Don't see him taking over that backfield whether Ingram is there or not. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Ravens draft a solid early down runner in the draft in 2020.

He hasn't shown anything 10 games in and there's massive run lanes for him. I wouldn't expect much.

He has had 29 carries for 114 yards and 4 rec. for 28. If it ain't broke don't fix it, plus Harbaugh tends to give rookie RBs a year before having a major role. Ray Rice didn't have much volume in his rookie year and he did ok until a night at a certain hotel. CMC came in same size and Justice has some underrated power. I wouldn't so quick to give up, doesn't hurt that the Ravens have the top rushing offense in the NFL, why not take some cheap stock? I've got mine

I would take a 3rd for him at this point. He has really lacked anything that would show much promise unfortunately. I have shares all over the place so I hope I’m wrong.

An impatient owner dropped Justice and nobody bid, so I scooped him up over MVS.

I voted 3rd down back. Definitely want a piece of this backfield moving forward, and his athletic profile shows the burst. However he looks like a smaller platoon back similar to Brieda & Ekeler that will work between the 20's. If he can grow to about 40% of the backfield touches and a few RZ targets consistently over the next couple years, he could be an easy flex start in PPR.

Worst case scenario, an RB falls into the Raven's lap early day 2 and Hill is expendable. For a 3rd, I think he's worth the hold.
