I think OJ is worth a mid first, Njoku is worth an early 2nd. Imo OJ will be worth an early 1st by seasons end.

A 2nd doesn't close that gap for me, but I guess it's unrealistic to expect a first back. To me this is a hold situation.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert

TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

I’ve been offered Njoku and Ekeler for OJ howard and dion Lewis.

Thoughts? Is the Ekeler > Lewis advantage worth what I lose in OJ?

I think both Howard and Njoku are elite athletes at the TE position. I like Howards size advantage, so I'd give him the slight edge in that department, but it's far from significant.

Howard has been ahead of Njuko pretty consistently in terms of both skill development and on field production since their entries to the league. I give Howard a significant edge here.

Situation is where things get interesting. Njuko has the more proven QB (which is sad as Baker is entering his second year) and is a piece of what projects to be a high octane offense. The worry here would be Njuko will be a relatively small part of this offense (think LA Rams). Howard seems to be an established piece of an offense influx. This feels like a make or break season for Jameis. While the hire or Arians is exciting, we don't know exactly if Howard will continue to be as featured in his system. The worry hear is that Winston fails and OJ is stuck with a rebuilding situation in the near future.

When I compare these two players in my mind Howard comes out significantly ahead. I would need at least a first round pick to flip Howard for Njuko and probably another startable TE on my roster to pair with David.

If it's the league in your signature and in understanding your roster constructuon accurately then Ekeler definitely wouldn't be enough for me to flip.
