Mike Williams a sell now?

Postby Nflnz » Wed Jul 10, 2019 11:09 pm

I’m starting to have second thoughts on Mike Williams and wonder if he’ll get the touches to repeat and increase on last years production.

What are others thoughts? Is he a sell high now?

I won't over think this one. I think he has a Alshon Jeffery like career and will be a solid WR2 with WR1 weeks for years to come

his value is certainly high at the moment, but with good reason.
the chargers are a good offense, rivers is getting on a bit and they might run it a bit more but he'll still be good for 4000+ yards and about 30 TDs.

williams is the clear cut number 2 receiver (benjamin and cantrell behind him), had a promising second season after missing part of the first and should have more responsibilities.

I will be holding MW for a few more years. Drafted him as a stash for WR1 value down the road and its starting to pan out.

Guess it depends on what you are getting back. In my league I am the vocal MW Supporter, obviously, so for someone to come along and get him from me the offer would have to be over the top.

For instance I was offered last night - Michael Gallup + 2020 3rd for Mike Williams. Would you be taking that?

Mike Williams is a hold right now imo. His value should continue to rise this season.

He is due for TD regression but will make up for it with an increase in recs/yds. Im not a huge MW truther, but also not anti ME either. KA,Henry and the RBs will soak up a lot of targets but hes a solid WR2. I own him in several leagues and recently sold him for Penny(a bit cheap) but I also have Nuk/MThomas/Hilton/Tyreek and needed RB help so was ok doing it

If you can package him for a solid upgrade, I'd do it. I don't think you'll get enough for him straight up right now though, so if that's the case I'd hold.

Hold. Last year was basically his rookie season & he went off. I understand Henry is back but they let Tyrell Williams walk. This dude easily has 1k potential and u see the TD's already. He will never be a big receptions guy because they have Henry & Keenan but he will Put up Vincent Jackson like numbers in his new role. I love Mike Williams.
