Hollywood vs Boykin

Postby Kkiddynamite » Mon Jun 10, 2019 1:57 pm

I know Hollywood was a 1st round pick and Boykins measurables/combine results dont necessarily match his on field play or production. I see Boykin as a big slot guy... for the price is he worth a flier? Is it totally crazy to think Boykin could outproduce Hollywood or post similar numbers even? I know Bal is a low volume, run first team. But watching film I think Boykin could develop into a solid NFL player if used and deployed the right way. Im also not a huge fan of Hollywood and his smallish frame at the NFL level, but plenty of small WRs have been successful so I could be proven wrong.

I think your kind of asking questions that are different than the poll so ill answer like this.

Given a choice between the 2 i take Hollywood all day.
However, Boykin is def worth a 3rd or 4th round flyer and if Hollywoods cost is a 1st id prefer Boykin at his cost.

I would take Brown well before Boykin but both players have upside and could develop into solid WR's. If Jackson makes a jump, you could not ask for a better landing spot for two rookie WR's. They could be the 1 and 2 for the team as early as this year.

Hollywood's cost is more typically an early 2nd, though.

Yea i guess that kind of my point. Rookie drafts have been all over the place so it hard to tell which is a better value with out knowing what they will cost.

If you can get Hoolywood at 2.04 and Boykin at 3.02 id take Hollywood. But if Hollywood is goimg to cost 1.11 and i can get Boykin for 3.08 or on waiver like he is in one of my leagues id prefer that.

Moral of the story is i believe they both have value at the right price.
