Redskins WR’s

Postby gman6199 » Fri May 17, 2019 9:23 pm

I know that the Skins have an uninspiring WR unit but the Skins still have to throw the ball. With that being said , who do you think will be the top two in fantasy production. As for me I think that:

Paul Richardson will lead this group in fantasy points. He was brought in to stretch the field and is being paid some serious money to do so. Thus he will be given the opportunity to produce. He was averaging 5-6 targets a game prior to getting hurt.
I’m giving Richardson a 65/825/6 stat line for 2019

Josh Doctson will show the Skins that he has the skills but yet again doesn’t make an impact with those skill thus losing playing time to Butler who makes a living catching balls on the outside and in the middle. Doctson will get 45/525/3

Butler comes through and produces a modest 40/600/6 stat line but shows the toughness to work in the middle and with contested catches.

Consequently, I think that Richardson followed by Butler followed by Doctson will be the Top producing WR’s for the skins. McLaurin is still a year away. Thoughts?

My bad. Substitute Kelvin Harmon for Hakeem Butler. I keep getting those two mixed up.

Especially in PPR leagues, he's one I'm most interested in from the bunch.

Richardson and Doctson are garbage. Richardson won't stay healthy and Doctson is not close to a good player. I would take their cheapest WRs and just wait it out. Nobody on this team is start able in even deep leagues right now.

I think Quinn’s floor is Cole Beasley. Like him out of the WR group

One of the rookies or Quinn is the way to go probably as Doctson and Richardson are stop gaps/on borrowed time.

Don't forget about Cam Sims. He actually made the Redskins last year before he suffered an ankle injury and ended up on injured reserve. He's 6'5" and 215. He's raw, but he had a great preseason last year. And he's free.
