Rookie Draft: Fant or Hockenson!?!?

I have pick 1.08, I was leaning Hockenson initially but Fant has better measurables and landing spot. Hockenson was a top ten pick though!

Hockenson is the better player. He also should be on the field more. Not sure how Fant has a better landing spot. Stafford is the better QB and they play in a dome. It also seems like Patricia wants a NE style team, and Hockenson could be his version of Gronk.

I like Fant more and I think Denver will force feed the TE position due to the lack of production over the past few years from the position. Not sure you can go wrong with either player.

While I think Hockenson is the better overall football talent I expect Fant to be more productive fantasy player. Stafford struggles getting his TE's fantasy points and coaching staff there wants to play 1980's style football so expect him to be blocking a lot.

Hock for me. I like his landing spot better, and prefer 3 down TEs. They seem to be less situation dependant.

I was faced with this very choice and I went with Fant. Hockenson is the better TE in real football terms but I don't get fantasy points for great blocking. I doesn't bother me that Fant won't be on the field for running plays. As long as he is a part of their passing attack I'll be happy. They will both be great fantasy TEs but Fant just seems to have a higher upside.
