Hopkins vs Beckham

Most if not all would agree Hopkins>Beckham. I'm wondering by how much.

Say you want to trade Beckham plus for Hopkins. What is that plus? The 2.12? The 2.02? A mid 2019 first? Penny? Boyd? Etc.

As a nuk owner myself, i'm not making a trade for OBJ and a 2nd. I would need a first. If OBJ didn't come with his bag of drama, it would be a different story.

I prefer Hopkins but I think a 2nd rounder is a fair difference between the 2 players.

Realistically talking about any high end players like Nuk vs OBJ, Zeke vs CMC ect. you are going to need to add a late 1st most likely. These players are worth so much on their own that a 2nd round pick is practically worthless when in the same conversation as these types of players. No one is going to trade their preferred top 5 startup player for a lesser preferred startup guy for the chance to draft a guy like James Washington or Hines or Ballage in the mid 2nd round of a rookie draft.

Beckham was doing very well in a pretty horrible situation. So has Hopkins.
I think Beckham is the best wr talent in the nfl, and now his situation is better than Hopkins’.

You can’t go wrong, but I’ve personally always gone Beckham.

If you're risk averse take Hopkins. There is almost no scenario outside of injury where he's not a top 5 WR going forward.

If you tend to take risks in fantasy to try and hit it out of the park go OBJ. This could legitimately be a Randy Moss to New England situation. But there is much more downside than for Hopkins.

Before the trade to Cleveland I tried an even swap OBJ for Hopkins and was turned down. Now, I don’t think I would do it .
