Allen Robinson or Corey Davis

Postby ebrog » Tue Aug 21, 2018 2:30 pm

12 team - PPR

I was offered Corey Davis for Allen Robinson. I have already said no, but I've started thinking that since I have Anthony Miller & Trey Burton, maybe I should take it. What do you think?

It's a fair thought. I've never been in love with AROB and now the year off from injury...

Also, I believe in Davis' talent and own him so I may be a bit biased. It may take a year for the Davis trade to pay off and you already have other younger WR you are waiting to grow

PErsonally I'd rather have Davis, I think they both have just as many question marks. Arob had one breakout year which was 2 seasons ago and is coming off an ACL injury, Davis was the #5 overall pick tied to a much more proven QB than Trubisky but hasn't shown anything yet.

I have them pretty close. Since he came to you, I'd ask for a late future pick on his side

There have been numerous threads/polls on these guys, so you're not alone in this dilemma. I tend to agree with your thinking where there are more targets/options around in Chicago now, whereas Corey Davis, by all great camp reports, is being used everywhere and could very well be the alpha on the entire offense. It's close, but despite Arob's one good proven year, I still prefer Davis. I also believe in Mariota getting CD the ball more than Trubisky getting ARob the ball. Give me Davis.

Had a similar offer this summer, I decided to stick with AROB. I think AROB gave me a better chance to win this season, though I certainly see the appeal of CD's ceiling.

as individuals, i like davis a bit more. However, at the moment i trust Mariota over Trubisky. So i'm firm on Davis.

This is Allen Robinson and it's somewhat of a no brainer to me ...

He has proven that he can be an elite player already (anybody who can put up 1400 yrds + 14 tds w/ Blake Bortles is elite), used to smoke Jalen Ramsey in 1on1s (supposedly) and is likely the better athlete. The only thing davis has on robinson is draft capital ... and even then arob arguably has just as impressive of a prospect profile.

Interesting point. I own Both in some leagues and while I like Mariota a lot, I lean Slightly towards AROB on this one
