Thielen and X draft pick vs Diggs?

Wanted to put this in here rather than the team help page. I've got an opportunity to upgrade my fantastic waiver pickup in Thielen as he comes off a career high season for the un drafted guy. The question just is, what draft pick addition makes him fair for Diggs? I feel we're going to fight hard for this one. Ppr

This really comes down to what you believe in. If you think Thielen is either a JAG who got lucky, OR that he'll bounce in free agency, then go for it. But I don't think any Diggs owner would trade him for Adam T unless they're getting a mid First on top. And do you really wanna pay that?

I own Thielen in the one league (in Sig) and I'll just hold him. I can't get anything more than a 4th probably, so why trade him? If he fizzles out, oh well. But if he builds on his season, great!

I agree. I think Thielen is a sweetener only in a deal for Diggs. I'd rather have a mid 1st, but I could see that being the price that a Diggs owner would need to move him. Seeing as how little Thielen would impact the deal, I'd probably rather try to keep him out of it, that way I could hedge with Diggs.

This is probably what's doing it. We've been chatting and I don't think the deal will get done. He sees Thielen as nothing more than a baby piece, I see him as a way to have it be a 2nd rnd.

Earlier in the season I'd expressed interest in Diggs and would have happily paid a 6ish pick for him. Since then with the Thielen pick up, I've got Thielen and Rudolph and don't want to add Diggs and be that in bed with the Vikings so trading away my other Viking receiver would be needed for the deal not to handcuff me. I don't want to trade Thielen and pretty much the same draft pick as if there was no thielen.
