He would certainly be a solid bet for weekly TDs, but I could see him getting swallowed up behind the line. Just my thoughts.
I agree.. love my colts.. kinda have mixed feelings with drafting a top tier RB in the first but it's a huge hole we need... but cook Would be a great asset and my 1.01

What up my Blue & White brother! Yeah Cook would be super fun and definitely fulfill a need but I would prefer a dominating big man (Jonathan Allen or Malik McDowell), an elite edge rusher (Garrett, Barnett, Tim Williams), one of the top OT prospects, an elite CB prospect like Humphrey, King, Tabor or MAYBE Reuben Foster to replace DQwell. But Foster would be even more of a luxury pick than Cook IMO, as I really don't like taking an inside linebacker in the top 20 picks.

Yea, landing spot is big for these guys. If one of them goes to either Indy or Green Bay for me are 1.01. The Raiders are also interesting to me. The top 4 players (Fournette, Cook, Williams, and Davis) look solid to me so far. Some might change out some of those guys, but there is talent here.

If we're talking pure ceiling, Fournette is somewhere between AP and peak Chris Johnson. Cook is a bigger Jamaal Charles, or maybe a more elusive young Matt Forte (people forget that his rookie year he had 1200 yards and 60 catches)

Floor for Fournette has to be lower because of his injury history and upright running style. Cook has the higher floor because he's healthy, shifty and great in the passing game.

Honestly, as a 1.01 owner, I want to see where they land and what their combine results are. Gurley is a top 2 RB in terms of Talent (in my opinion) but his team is crap. I think Fournette is the better back, but it'll be hard to say no too Cook in Indy.

I keep seeing the injury history being mentioned, and I can't help but wonder is Fournette's injury history that much more significant than Cook's? I also don't see much posted about Cook's weird fumbles.i don't watch that much college ball, so could someone who follows them more closely comment?

The Colts offensive line is awful. How would that boost his value?

It has actually improved quite a bit. From absolutely terrible to sub par. And no matter the line, Cook would get a shot at some good goal line carries in the Indy offense

Can't help but think some of these Cook and it's not even close posters are trying to drag Fournettes value down so they can land him at 1.02.

I'm just happy I have 1.1 & 1.2 because it can be tough. They are both really talented & their combine results will be awesome. But as an FSU fan I still have to give the edge to Fournette. I hope we can see some great landing spots for this class!

Have 1.01 and leaning Fournette. I think he maybe didn't push as hard through injuries this season with the payday right around the corner. If LSU was in the playoffs, he'd be playing.

I'd rather be wrong by not taking Cook than by not taking Fournette if that makes sense.

Barring a terrible location, I have to go Fournette. When I watch Adrian Peterson highlights, the size speed combination just looks otherworldly. I see the same when I watch Fournette. I was torn before. But now it seems clear as day. Cook is an excellent prospect in his own right. As many have said you can't wrong. Personally, I like Fournette as my 1.01. Hopefully Gurley gets some help and I can watch these two score points for me year after year.

I can say that's definitely not my angle. Fournette just didn't knock my socks off this year like Cook did. I'd even say Fournette didn't even look like the best back on his own team this year. Watch Derrius Guice's tape from the A&M game, he was just as amazing as I'd always heard Fournette was. I hope it was just injuries. I hope he wasn't holding back waiting for the payday honestly. That's a character thing for me personally.
