Smith. It may take time but I think he has a solid chance at being a good TE.

Sternberger for me, although I can understand the Smith side.

IMO, Smith is much more of a Jack Doyle, Kyle Rudolph, type of talent.

Sterngerger has the receiving chops to develop into the #3 target in GB, MAYBE the #2 target in a couple years.

And Jimmy Graham probably won’t be on the Packers next year. Aaron Rodgers makes average WR’s look amazing and Packers are trying to find that special TE and Sternberger could be their man they’ve been looking for. With Rodgers being the QB plus Sternberger had an amazing year at Texas A&M and I believe I read somewhere he had the best catch rate out of all rookie TE’s this year. So I’ll ride on Sternberger right now over Smith plus Rudolph has signed an extension with Vikings which worries me that Smith availability on the field will be less than Rudolph.
QB DeShaun Watson, CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Will Levis
RB Saquon Barkley, Jonathan Taylor, Alexander Mattison, Roschon Johnson, Kendra Miller
WR Ja’Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Chris Olave, JSN, Treylon Burks
TE George Kittle, Noah Fant, Dalton Schultz, Luke Schoonmaker

I’ll take Sternberger with Rodgers. Irv a great prospect but Kirk and the abundance of existing offensive talent in Min give the edge to Stern.
I don’t think at this stage either is in the ‘not close’ territory. That’s just me..
