I'm currently involved in a start-up auction. I hadn't planned on spending top dollar for one of the stud WRs, yet Dez Bryant is just sitting there right now at $11.50, compared to Calvin about to go off the board at $16.00. That seems too low to me. But do I re-write my auction plan to bid on him? Btw, no other WRs have been nominated as yet.

No auction plan should exist, that is completely static and unchanging. You have to adapt your plan, as opportunities present themselves. If you think a player is severely undervalued, you should absolutely bid on them.

^^this. also if its for the league in your sig you only gotta start 1 qb and 1 rb but can start up to 5 wr. to me that screams out the you ABSOLUTELY MUST be strong at wr and have one of the top 6 guys. I expect the fact mega went for 16 is gonna be a bargain when other ppl wisen up and guys like green go even higher. I would bid dez up to 14 or maybe 15 if you gotta.

Thanks for the response, guys. Everyone is still feeling out the market, and it looks like there's a lot of slow playing and last minute bids to keep guys on the clock and wait for new nominations. I bid Dez up a little, but someone else is currently high bid at 12.5. Meanwhile, DT is at 13.5 and AJ at 13.

Who knows if that's where they end up. This is an extreme test of patience.
