I give:
JStew ($10, 3 years)
Pick 1.4 ($14, 4 years)
Pick 1.8 ($13, 4 years)

I get:
Shady McCoy ($18.50, 2 years)

Background:
All contracts increase 10% year over year
Took TRich at 1.1
Also hold 1.7 ($13, 4) years, so assuming 4 picks in the top 8 could bust my cap down the road.
1.2 and 1.3 will likely be the QBs.
Can franchise Shady after his contract ends, making him mine for free until I un-franchise him.

Thoughts?

On the surface, I like the Deal.
Any trade to get Shady that doesn't cripple your team is a good one.
However, your WR corp is very weak and Cutler is Cutler.
Basically the trade is JStew, Luck, K. Wright for Shady.
Tough call. I'm still a JStew believer and his contract is good.
Cutler is OK and should be better, but not your long term answer.
Since you have Charles & T. Rich, I think I'd hold on to J. Stew + your picks and take a QB @ 1.04.

Maybe you could package a pick and M. Bush 1.08 for a WR?

If you can't and the QBs look like they will go before 1.04 then do the Shady deal.

Yes, you can move a franchise player.

Offered 1.4 and 1.8 for 1.3 and owner said he'd wait and see. Basically, he needs a QB and is waiting to see if 1.2 goes QB or not.

Trading Charles for a WR sounds like the play, but I would likely wait as his value seems pretty low in my league right now.

Couldn't come to terms on the deal for McCoy so I kept the picks. Turned into:

1.4- Andrew Luck
1.7- Michael Floyd
1.8- Traded for 2.2 and 2013 1rst rounder

Not sure it was the right play, but happy with the selections.

Luck at 1.4 and Floyd at 1.7 are good gets. Think you did well.
