Just started a auction startup draft and I keep getting outbid on the top RBs. We have $1000.

CMC and Barkley are just over $200
CEH and Taylor are about $165 and $155 respectively
Zeke, cook and jacobs are at $130
Kamara is $120
Dobbins is $100
Chubb just came out and is at $90
Jones and Henry are at $90
Drake at $55

I'm wondering how much higher to go on some of these guys. We just started so we are in the initial 60 players nominated. I haven't done too much with auctions so any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Be patient. If RBs are going for much more than you think that they should, then you'll end up with incredible value at every other position. Your opponents will have better RBs than you, but you'll beat them almost everywhere else.

Dont forget you dont need to give long contacts, I'd chase drake to 80 bucks and hold after that. As the poster above stated, getting others to spend their money can also work to your advantage.

You dont mention roster size, nor # of teams for us

also you dont need to start guys you want, you may want to start guys you expect to go for alot of money
