32 Team Salary Cap/Contract League Question

Alright dynasty football community,
I have taken orphan that will require quite the rebuild (team in sig) and I need some help. My first challenge is using my franchise tag. Here is the list of players to franchise tag with 2018 point totals:

LeVeon Bell (NYJ-RB) $10,790,000 -- 0 pts
Sammy Watkins (KC-WR) $13,740,000 -- 120.35 pts
Jadeveon Clowney (HOU-DL) $4,700,000 -- 169.5 pts
Demario Davis (NO-LB) $6,680,000 -- 231.5 pts
Trumaine Johnson (NYJ-DB) $4,520,000 -- 119.52 pts
AJ Bouye (JAX-DB) $4,520,000 -- 113.36 pts


Next question,
I get a free drop with cap hit because I'm a new owner. Is the best drop for my roster Rod Smith?

Can you continue to Franchise a player in future years? And what is the cap ramifications if you do?

And am I reading this correctly that you can only Franchise one player? Or can you Franchise as many as you want?

I'm allowed 1 franchise tag a year. Yes, I can franchise the same player for 3 consecutive years, if I please. Ramifications start in the 2nd year of the franchise tagging. 30% increase in salary in the 2nd year and a 60% increase in salary the 3rd year.

I also have the option of not using my franchise tag.

If you're rebuilding, the I'd imagine that you'd want to tag the player that has the most trade value. Bell could fit the bill. But, I don't do IDP, so I can't compare to the defensive players.

You have a ton of cap space, are many teams in that position? I would franchise bell as well. Although if your a Watkins truther (or have one in the league, he will ne very appealing), as both carry the Most trade value, is trading open? Can you move some of these guys to another franchise without a FP? Is this a single copy or double copy league?

It's a single copy league. I can't move them until I franchise one of them. Yes, I have a ton of cap space. There are a few teams (3 or 4) in a similar position. I also found out that Bell can actually be franchised for $7,540,000 and not the $10,790,000 that I posted in the original post. Because of the input I've received here and the lower salary amount I'm heavily leaning Bell now.
