Mike Evans @ 15% of cap for 2019 4th & 2020 1st rd

New to salary cap dynasty w/ auction so trying to figure out value of having cap space vs top tier talent. It a SF w/slight TE bonus. 12 team with 28 men rosters. No IDP/Def/K so it's slim pickings other than FA / Rookies

Evans signed for 2 yrs @ roughly 5th highest wr contract. Any feedback ?

In a salary cap vacuum, I'd likely take the picks.

Evans at 15% of the cap is approximately fair value for him. But, you only get him for two years. The picks, however, have the potential to be good/great value -- and you can presumably keep them for longer.

In addition, with the additional cap space, you have a LOT of flexibility now.

That being said, if you're a title contender in 2019 and 2020, then I'd prefer Evans.
