Does anyone know where I can do auction mock drafts in the off season? It will be for dynasty, but a redraft auction mock is fine too. I can't fine anywhere right now.

They are hard to find. Not enough dynasty leagues play auction (it's way more fun and a lot more challenging than standard draft). Also they're extremely variable (never seen two the same) and there aren't any auction mock tools out there as far as I'm aware.

Best bet is to ask for people to post their actual auction drafts. I'm happy to post mine, but we tend to draft late...

Do not do an auction mock draft for dynasty. I have done about 7 true auction dynasty drafts and you will get demolished if you play even close to how redraft leagues are done.

In dynasty auction your top player (barkley) should be about 20% of budget and tiered from there. Barkley the most obvious 1.01 in history so perhaps he’s 25% but no player should ever be more than that.

That is really helpful! Very few people in my league have done an auction start up before, so I am expecting high bids to be placed early. I realize if other people are throwing away money early, they will dry out earlier, but also I think it's important to get some high end pieces or studs. So if bidding is much higher than what you are proposing early, would you spend up to get a top guy still?
