If KC drafts a WR

Postby breeze » Tue Apr 08, 2014 11:57 am

Do you bump that rookie down? If so, by how much.

Alex Smith is a fantasy WR killer. Look at Crabtree's splits during the 2012 season after Kaep took over. Smith doesn't throw down field and is just a game manager. I guess that's fine in NFL but not for fantasy. I really hope OBJ doesn't go there in the 1st round since I really like him. Wondering if others feel the same way u do.

If KC drafts OBJ then yes, major buzz kill. I have OBJ higher than Cooks and Lee, but not so much higher that if Cooks/Lee went to The Eagles and OBJ to the Chiefs, I think I'd take the Cooks/Lee. Smith sucks, not just with Crabtree, look at Dwayne Bowe.

Anybody going to the Jets or the Chiefs would really suck.

I really try to pick wrs based on talent but Alex Smith would be the exception to that rule. I probably wouldn't draft anyone that goes to kc unless they really dropped.

Yup major buzz killer. With Reid's west coast offence and Smith's noodle arm, WR's are out of luck downfield.

That's why I am excited to be an owner of Kelce.

They'll be taking probably two wrs. Avery and mccluster are gone and Charles was asked to do too much.

if they draft a pure speed guy I wouldn't touch him. cooks going there to me kills any value. but a guy like that isn't afraid to go over the middle I still see some value in if they fall. example kelvin Benjamin. as far as I have seen hes been falling a little already. if he goes to kc it might scare even more ppl away to where in mid 2nd it becomes kinda a value. but more than likely I will stay away from any wr they draft unless they do draft a qb in the first 3 rds like I expect which could signify smith will be pushed to the side in 2 yrs or so
