Future Eagle QB Targets

Postby teprovich88 » Sun Sep 15, 2013 3:49 pm

I think it is fair to say that to get the most out of Chip Kelly's offense, the Eagles need a QB in the mold of Vick, Kaepernick, Wilson, Newton, RG3, ect..

I'm just curious what other people think a few targets could be going forward for the Eagles. I find it interesting that the Eagles almost landed Kaepernick in the 2012 draft if not for Andy's inability to pull the trigger on the trade!

To be honest I think Chip may go with his Oregon QB Mariota if he declares for the NFL draft next year. His biggest knock is probably his completion percentage but I think Chip can make him work just like he did in Oregon.

That seems like the longest of long shots at best. Not only is Vick working out for them right now, but they also have Foles and Barkely.

That is true. I don't think Vick is going to be around for that much longer and neither Foles nor Barkely seem like that kind of player that will be able to run a Chip Kelley led offense.
