Wow. Not good for young Jacobs.

I've just noticed how few off-field problems we've had with NFL players the last couple of years.

Oof, what a knuckle head if he was truly under the influence. If not, then I hope he fell asleep at the wheel and learns not to drive at 5 in the morning.

Either way, huge red flag. Might have him landing on the chopping block. I reckon I can get a pretty penny for him being RB8 at 23.

It must be great being able to get away with this stuff because you're an athlete, in Australia the other year a player was caught driving 60-70kms over the limit whilst drunk (well over the limit) and he somehow only missed 4 games and no jail time. For us regular folk thats jail no question.

He wasn't charged because he was not over the legal limit at all. Good story but not really relevant in this case it seems.

Admittedly I had the same thoughts upon reading the headline. It wouldn’t be hard to find numerous examples of rich people getting away with crimes, but that’s probably not a productive road to go down here.

It does appear he was under the Nevada legal limit of 0.08, which I just learned is the legal limit for criminal prosecution in every state other than Utah (Mormons established a lower level of 0.05). He was obviously still a danger to himself and others though as evidenced by the crash

Thats interesting, was he over on at the scene but was under when he got tested at the station? Here if you test over you go back to the station and get tested properly, I don't quite understand how he got arrested for DUI whilst not being over the legal limit, different laws in USA?

Regardless of his blood alcohol level, he was drinking and crashed his car. This isn't nothing - he's burned some credibility.

Doesn't make him a sell, but he's on my red flag radar.

Speeding isn't nothing either but this story is a nothing burger. I highly doubt the Raiders cut him. I highly doubt anyone in fantasy sells low on this. No chance he faces discipline for this. Not even the Commish would go that far.

More than likely 90% of the players drink and more than likely 85% will have more than 1 drink on occasion. If the standard of drinking below the limit is a red flag and a player having an accident is a red flag then the vast majority of players are red flags.

Nothing Burger... Time to move on to the next Crisis or Fabricated Crisis.

Eh single car crashes happen often. Could have just been going to fast and lost control. Doesn't necessarily mean the alcohol in him was why. I'd be interested to hear what his bac came back as. Obviously no one is condoning reckless driving, or driving with any alcohol in your system, but if he had 2 drinks with dinner and was just being a dumb 22 year old (like most are) by going to fast, It'd be really dumb to act like this is a bigger deal than a speeding ticket. Based on what we have, the alcohol in him seems more coincidental than anything imo
