He was a terrible Brady throw from a monster day. Oddly enough, I bet people look at the box score and their take away is that Evans sucks and was bailed out by a TD.
I still think a reasonable takeaway from that is Evans' situation is materially worse than in prior seasons. Brady's long ball is suspect at 43.
He's the anti-Jameis. Doesn't force much or sling it downfield with 0 regards of outcome

On pace for 4400/40TD/8int

I purposely avoided Godwin/Evans in all my redraft leagues this year because I fully expected their production to tank under Brady. Brady is a far superior NFL QB to Winston, but Winston is Fitzpatrick on steroids for WR value with his downfield risk taking. There was just no way even a more aggressive version of Brady was going to match Winston's fantasy output.

That said Evans and Godwin are both still great players. But you don't have to knock either of their own performances/talent to acknowledge their fantasy future has dimmed in the light of losing Winston as their QB.

And my concern with Evans is that I’m not sure he will get the targets or deep balls we are accustomed to him getting and he will lack consistency. I think he may turn into a Golladay type producer. 65 catches - 1000 yards - 10 TDs.....still solid, but that’s a far cry from his 90-1500-12 ceiling. Those days for him are over.

You can also throw in game script into the mix. Brady is going to be ahead a lot more whereas Jameis was trailing a lot. Not to mention those pick 6's helped him get right back on the field and sling it more lol

That is funny. The sad part of it is that he only has one TD. Who would have though Lamar and CEH would have close to no rushing TDs at the halfway mark.

If you're a Ravens fan you have to be very worried about Lamar's regression. He has looked largely like trash so far this year. Definitely as a passer, but even as a runner, he is so obviously desperate and running foolishly - throwing himself into linebackers just to gain 2 yards...

I am cringing BIG time after trading for him in one league.
